Hey buddy,
Can you rephrase the line of the article in the opening paragraph, where you say the cafe is a place for the 'followers' of Ayn Rand.
An individualist doesn't follow anyone. That some people might follow Ayn Rand's words unthinkingly is irrelevant. Please do her justice and replace the word followers with admirers... the people that opened that cafe are arch-individualists... and I don't know them, and I don't live in NYC (too bad, because I'd rather like to see the place). Thanks!

don't have sex in a hot tub! silly objectivist! it's a-beggin for an infection for the woman, the bacteria love the warm temperature! --tep 10/17 |
This is the cruelest, funniest thing I've seen on your site for a long, long time. -- 07/24 |
"In Atlas Shrugged, she says, 'Show me the woman that a man sleeps with, and I will tell you everything you need to know about that man.' Who you have sex with shows the kind of things you value."
totally awesome. may nerve's supply of imagination never run dry. --mh 07/24 |
Heidi said it's okay to lie to someone. Objectivists don't lie. Honesty is an important virtue. All people involved have to be dealing with reality and lying makes that difficult. --TLS 07/22 |
I don't blame the young ones, but shouldn't you have grown out of objectivism by the time you're 33? --KsZ 07/22 |
'objectivists' get laid? or did i miss the point of the fountainhead cafe's opening? -- 07/20 |
