Girls have always been forced to be at least amateur poker players in life just because participation in the world for them is a gamble, dominated by men. She is not allowed to choose her hand except to the extent that she may invest in one or two men who represent the "best hand" she will ever be dealt. Often, those "aces or not," tend to have been her father and her spouse, but not always. Apart from that all she has is her "hand" in which to hold her options - so she often keeps them open - until sure. Where men are always presented with poker hands at work, or through the potential relationships with women, most of whom will not be their mother or spouse, the male gambling nature is highly developed with respect to that for women. Women would welcome the opportunity to play at times, and at others prefer the hand of a stacked deck that men love, but don't require to survive. At what point either men or women become professional poker players in life is doubtful. Given recent views, how much would anyone bet on the prospects of wealth or riches of late? Isn't that why scoring is always a pleasure?
