Reader Feedback on "History of Single Life"

Any time a woman models herself after a media manufactured image of what a progressive/independent/strong woman should be (ie. That Girl, Sex in the City) she's being the opposite of progressive/independent/strong. No "type" is feminist, not the cliche hairy armpit bra burning man hater, not the Girl Gone Wild, not the power suited CEO. Women in the real world know this. (28/F)

i really enjoyed this piece. i'm male, but find it easier to identify with this section than any other article i've seen in the History of Single Life. well played.
