Bourbon Street's biggest party.
The colder weather didn't slow down New Orleans, Louisiana, as thousands of party goers flocked to Bourbon Street to celebrate Mardi Gras. This celebration of indulgences occurs yearly on the days leading up to Fat Tuesday before Lent, a true weekend of partying where anything goes, from handheld daiquiris on the street to a quick flash for a set of five-cent plastic beads. It seems inhibition is the one and only thing missing from Mardi Gras.
A tip for those willing to face the masses on Bourbon Street is that unlike Vegas, what happens at Mardi Gras is fare game for the world to gawk at. Thanks to these Instagram users who shared some of their most fun, wild moments from the week, we can almost smell the king cake.
Here's a quick peak into the crazy good time that is Mardi Gras 2014.
