Spider-Man and Penis ‘Sculpture’ Removed from New York Street, Anger Ensues

The Daily News & the NYC Assembly are keeping the city safe from the tyranny of dildos hung from power lines.

Since mid-January, a Spiderman tied to a dildo has hung from a power line at the intersection of Bedford Avenue and North 6th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Apparently people were shocked and appalled that such filth was displayed so prominently at the Ground Zero of Hipster America. The New York Daily News snapped a photo on Thursday, after the Assemblyman Joseph Lentol called the sculpture(?) "highly offensive." The vile spectacle was gone an hour later. The city government makes things happen, and fast! The Daily News executes hard-hitting journalism that holds the government accountable!

What Joseph Lentol and the Daily News fail to recognize is that Spider-Man is a New York City icon. Peter Parker is from Queens! He's just like us! He's a photographer for a tabloid newspaper! Jeff Bachner, the photographer who took this photo, literally has the same job as Peter Parker! By publishing the photo that gets this sculpture(?) removed, he has undermined his own profession. Y'all have great power! What about the great responsibility!?

Free Spiderman! Free his dildo! Restore Dildo Spider-Man to the Intersection of Bedford & N 6th! #RescueDildoSpideman
