The 'kinetic sculpture' responds to viewers' movements or fluctuations in the stock market.
Artist and designer Peiqi Su's thesis project at NYU's ITP graduate program is hypnotically weird. She 3D printed 81 penises and fitted them with motors and an ultrasonic motion sensor and hacked them to respond to viewers' movements or, brilliantly, to realtime changes in the stock market, which is excellent satiric commentary on capitalism and masculinity. It's also a wall of robot penises waggling and flexing like some kind of Dali nightmare. Here's video of the excellent, thought-provoking art project, taken by Instagram user Ronen V.
