Avocado = Good Sex

big-avocado-791859

Not only are avocados incredibly delicious, but they are also good for your libido. Once I found this out, I increased my avocado intake by 70% (not an exact figure), including it as many meals as possible (one time I ate four avocado meals in a row).

The "Avocado Sexy Time Theory", as I like to call it, dates back to the Aztecs. The avocado tree was called ahucatl, a.k.a. "testicle tree". High levels of folic acid metabolizes proteins and gives you more energy, B6 vitamins increase male hormone production, and potassium regulates the woman's thyroid gland (not to mention, prevent you from getting cramps!).

All good things for a better time in the sack.

If you plan on upping your daily avocado intake, consider the Williams-Sonoma Avocado Tool, which makes it easy to peel, pit, and mash the avocado so you can get to digesting and reaping the benefits much sooner.

In Brazil they're eaten sweet - try mashing 2 ripe avocados, adding 2/3 x cup of sugar & a squeeze of lemon. Leave it to stand for 10 minutes, then whizz it up with a cup of milk. Best chilled!

What a ridiculous article.

"High levels of folic acid metabolizes proteins and gives you more energy" - only true if you have a folic acid deficiency. Most people don't.

"B6 vitamins increase male hormone production, and potassium regulates the woman's thyroid gland" - only if you have a B6 deficiency, or a problem with your thyroid gland. Most people don't.

This article is just blatant attempt to plug the Williams-Sonoma avocado tool. Shame on you.
