Where are you from?
I’m originally from Sydney. I’ve been in New York for three days.

Just visiting?
I’m here for three months, and then I’m going to look for a full time job. If I get it then I’ll stay.

Why New York?
Why not? I just love the buzz of this city — on the streets, in the restaurants, the shopping — I just want to be a part of it.

What are some of the differences you see fashion-wise between Sydney and New York?
It’s actually quite similar, but there’s just a lot more variety here which is great.

Do people still wear Ugg boots in Australia?
Definitely, yeah [laughs].

What’s an example of something you would wear if you were going out for a night on the town?
Heels, a dress, full makeup, hair done — maybe jeans and a dressy top and some funky heels — mixing it up a little bit. I’m definitely into bold accessories — going simple with the outfit and doing it up with chunky accessories and a nice bag. I don’t like overdoing it with everything. I don’t like too much. You’ve got to balance it out a little bit.

How do you like men to dress?
Oh, men! During the day — street, funky cool — and then at night, a little more smart — a nice pair of jeans and a top. Not too metro though; they can’t look like a girl. I don’t like tight jeans on a guy.

Who’s the sexiest man in the world?

George Clooney. I like the way he holds himself, I think he’s the type of guy that can pull anything off really.

Can you tell us about your ring and your bracelet?
Well, the bracelet I got as a farewell gift from one of my friends back home, and I promised her I wouldn’t take it off the whole time I’m here. And the ring I bought at a store back home called Mimko as a Christmas gift for myself and I just love it, I think it goes with everything.

What about your bag?
My bag is from a store in Sydney — it’s leather — and the most expensive item that I’m wearing at the moment.
