In the past, I’ve continuously fallen fashion victim to my bulky, frumptastic winter wardrobe. While cycling repeatedly through my five blah sweaters, I’ve thought longingly of my chest-hugging tank tops and flirty skirts and dresses. Obviously, I hadn’t mastered the art of layering. I’ve recently learned that piling on the layers can make me that much more fun to slowly unwrap.
It started when I mistakenly ordered an oversized sweater with a V too deep for my tastes. Soon after putting it on over a tiny tank top one cool summer evening, I became a layering convert.
These sweaters are perfect for our purposes (though some of them can certainly be worn without the extra layers).
As for your skirts and summer dresses, some of them can be converted to winterwear by simply pulling on a fun pair of sweater tights or swapping the gladiator sandals and ballet flats for a sexy pair of riding boots. Okay, cold weather. I’m ready for you.
