The right suit can make you feel like a million bucks and give you the confidence to conquer anything (or anyone). Of course, a really nice suit that fits awesome can cost over $1,000.
As much I tell myself that a suit is a worthwhile investment, I simply don’t have a grand (at the very least) to drop on a great, bespoke, well-fitting suit, like one of Thom Browne’s (pictured above). Now you can get that tailored look for about $1,500 less than a Thom Browne.
Timothy Farrah, who worked with Thom Browne on his Black Fleece collection for Brooks Brothers, just designed Club Monaco’s new suit collection. I’m always skeptical of suits from big box clothing stores like Banana Republic and Express, so I was relieved to hear about the details of these suits — slightly shorter pants, button-holes that actually work, grosgrain taping, shorter jacket, slim lapels, etc. Not to mention all the heads that are going to be turning your way!
The trendy one (a.k.a. the one I’m waiting for my next paycheck to buy).
The slightly more conservative one, which is also nice.
Some of the suits will also be sold as four-pieces with a matching waistcoat and tie.
