A whole new meaning to "wrap it up."

During Paris Fashion Week, Japanese condom mega-retailer, Condomania, hoped to catch the stylish crowd's attention with a unique visual display of couples vacuum-sealed together. The niche naughty store enlisted the creative help of Oglivy and Mather Japan who knew just the nude aficionado for the job – Photographer Hal, who hand selects couples for his work based on their ability to display true connection in front of the camera. In addition to the right couples, Hal utilized plastic bags normally found on packaged futons, and developed a way to remove the air from the bags for up to 10 seconds while he photographs the two participants inside.

The display caused quite a stir at PFW, as spectators were distracted with the idea that they could be staring a nude, dead bodies that had been hermetically-sealed. The tagline of the project states "preserve the love, wear a condom," but in the behind-the-scenes video below, Hal reveals that's not the symbolism of the two bodies sealed together. "Human beings aren't completed if they're just by themselves. It's when they come together, when they come really close, that they're finally completed."
