J.K. Rowling may write another Harry Potter book

Want to know how magical Oprah is? She did something that thousands of nerds who likely think magic is real couldn't do: Oprah got J.K. Rowling to consider writing another Harry Potter book.
On her appearance on the yet-to-air broadcast of today's The Oprah Winfrey Show, J.K. Rowling was asked if she'd ever write another installment of the Harry Potter series. "I'm not going to say I won't," she coyly teased millions of fanboys and fangirls everywhere, especially those (aka me) who are very, very interested in seeing how actress Bonnie Wright (aka Ginny Weasley) has... developed.
She also spoke to Oprah about how things have changed since those famous wizard tales made her one of Britain's wealthiest women, claiming it's "like being a Beatle."

I hope she doesn't. The series is great as is.
I have never read any Harry Potter books, or even seen any of the movies, am I missing out?
@bearman - you're totally missing out. I like all the movies, but as usual, there's nothing like the book. The stories are just really good, you don't want to put them down. I read the 7th (final) book in about 3 hours. That good. And yes, I'm a grownup lol
Thanks for the tip alicia. But i'm going to pass, and continue to miss out, because I just don't like that name, Harry Potter. If there was a television show called Welcome Back Potter, about a magician who lovingly imparts his knowledge to a motley group of ethnics, I might consider watching that, but otherwise, no. Reading that book in 3 hours is impressive though. You must be thrilled about the prospect of an 8th book. I hope it happens for you.
Ehhh...I don't need another HP book. When Rowling pushes things she ruins them. I'd hate to think of her sullying her characters for money.
Great, now every time I see Hewlett-Packard i'm gonna think of Harry Potter.
not going to lie, i kind of consider the whole series to be kind of terrible. i'm not looking forward to more years of hearing about how it's revelatory.
Ugh, could someone warn Daniel about the fashion dangers of V-neck shirts?
She needs to take a lesson from the Star Wars debacle and fight the urge to extend the story line beyond its natural arc.
bearman33: No, you're not (I am assuming you are an adult man). The books are poor. If you *really* feel like you're missing out, try the audiobooks. They are nearly radio plays.
just read my name
@youalllosers IKR? I mean, these are really retarded people here. oh well, Twilight's the most awfully made saga anyway
