Always ad

In "weird strides for feminism" news, a new ad for time-of-the-month products actually features the color red (that's the real color of periods, in case you missed that!), rather than the mysterious blue liquid we've all come to know and love.

A lot of you probably noticed over the years that ads for menstrual products never feature any images that have anything to do with, you know, menstruation, and according to one expert, the above ad for Always may be the very first American feminine-product ad to actually depict blood. Probably not a change anyone was really clamoring for, but still pretty interesting.

Meanwhile, the workers at the factory that makes that blue liquid scramble to update their resumes.

it depends

Next barrier to be broken: ads for diapers to feature the colors poop brown and urine yellow. Justice for the incontinent now!

Finally... It is about time that we stop playing to the ideals of what men think menstruating is like. They will never understand what women go through. There is no need to hide what we naturally experience every month for disgusting pigs.

errrrmmmm..... I don't know about you guys, but my period doesn't look like a neat little red dot. I somehow don't think that that's "actual blood."

the "maze effect" where you win when you get to the red dot is kind of cool.

now, when put this on the back of a cereal box...

I think the maze is keeping the red dot in.

So, can anyone tell me what this blue liquid in my underwear is?
