Eighteen great works of art censored for your comfort

In the wake of the attempted defacement of a Gauguin, and the subsequent censorship of the piece of art when shown on a Fox News affiliate broadcast on the subject, someone has released a collection of eighteen famous works of art, all edited to ensure your puritan eyes remain chaste. The edited collection contains everything from Bosch and Michelangelo to O'Keeffe and Picasso.

You can see the entire gallery of comically edited fine art over at Buzzfeed. And check out a few of the best selections below, followed by a shot of a dead body lying in a pool of blood, which aired on NBC's Law and Order: SVU. No censorship required!

Georgia O'Keeffe

The Origin of the World – Gustave Courbet
