Karl Lagerfeld sculpts his ideal man out of chocolate
By Virginia SmithApril 28th, 2011, 6:10 pmComments (12)
God, is there anything Karl Lagerfeld does that isn't in one way or another wildly entertaining? The Chanel designer, who reportedly goes nowhere without his muse (and total hottie) Baptiste Giabiconi, has gone and unveiled an eerie, expertly sculpted chocolate replica of said muse.
The obvious labor of love is loosely linked to Magnum ice cream (for which the Kaiser has also directed commercials staring Baptiste) and debuted today in Paris. Now, you can go ahead and make all the jokes you want about Karl and his choco-muse, but I will say that this looks a lot nicer than the Skittles replica of Jon Hamm I've been working on for the past eighteen months. Hats off.

Reminds me of the Brownie Husband from SNL.
Am I the only one that find this a tad racist? Germans, did you learn nothing from ze war?
If Karl had gone out of his way to demonstrate his inherent Ayran racism, he'd have used white chocolate.
...how, how on earth is this racist? Creepy and objectifying to his little booty call? That I could see. Racist? No.
