Science discovers that babies prefer Picasso to Monet

If you've always preferred impressionism to cubism, maybe think twice before hiring a baby to decorate your home or manage your art investments. According to groundbreaking and long-awaited scientific research, babies show a strong preference for the work of Picasso over that of Monet.

Why, you may ask, did anyone need to know this? I couldn't tell you, but researchers do have ideas why the infant community seems to skew so strongly toward Picasso, positing that the brighter, more clear colors and patterns in his work appealed to the children in the study more than the "blurry" and "shimmery" effects at work in Monet.

Maybe so, but could this also have something to do with the average number of boobs depicted per artist? They are babies, after all.
