Skyy Vodka draws criticism for sexy new ad

A new Skyy vodka ad is drawing fire for what some industry regulators are calling inappropriately explicit imagery. The ad, above, shows no nudity, but rather suggests a woman getting, um, intimate with her favorite spirit. According to USA Today:
The Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. ad code says: Beverage alcohol advertising and marketing materials should not rely upon sexual prowess or sexual success as a selling point for the brand.
It's a statement that will come as a surprise to anyone with a TV — sexy women have been selling alcohol for as long as fermentation. And, it's a visual pun of sorts, or at least cleverly suggestive — which is a bigger feat than the standard woman in a low-cut top in beer ads. The billboard was unveiled today in major cities around the country, and, at least as of right now, no one seems to have any intention of taking them down.

This is nothing, how is that an issue?
That has got to be the dumbest complaint about an ad ever. I mean, really?
Absurd. That rule reminds me of the antiquated laws in southern states that pop up from time to time that are never enforced.
Not sexy... Just stinky... Pvc, sweat, eww....
"Skyy Vodka...the drink of choice for women who fuck vodka bottles." I like this ad strategy. It's a largely ignored demographic...
If alcohol did not provide "sexual success," hardly anyone would ever drink.
If you like the image personally, I have no problem with that. But it's offensive AS AN AD because it tells the world, Hey! We chicks like to be penetrated with vodka bottles! Not something I'd generally teach my kid about female sexuality.
why are we all assuming it's a woman?
it looks a little out of proportion... ouch
