Terrifying/awesome photographs of dogs underwater

What's that? You thought pet photography was terminally kitsch? Think again, mortal. Because pet photographer Seth Casteel's underwater shots of dogs diving into swimming pools are either surreal, fascinating, or terrifying, depending on your perspective. I don't know if it's the insane single-mindedness gleaming in the dogs' eyes as they pursue their felted quarry, or the way the water flaps back their lips to reveal a slavering mass of plunging teeth, but either way it feels like Falkor the luckdragon is bearing down on you at full tilt.
