84-year-old Hugh Hefner engaged to 24-year-old Playboy Playmate

Playboy publisher Hugh Hefner and Playboy-published Crystal Harris are taking the next step in their relationship: the two are engaged to be married. The first public announcement came from (where else?) Twitter, where Hefner wrote, "When I gave Crystal the ring, she burst into tears." And in case there was any confusion, he later tweeted:
Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all.
This May-December(-issue) marriage will be Hefner's second to a Playmate and third overall. Hugh brings to the union four children, two of which are more than twice Harris' age. The other two kids are ages 9 and 10. His life almost sounds kind of stressful... but not really.

There is so much gold digging going on here that the Mine Safety and Health Administration has jurisdiction.

Although the age difference would indicate otherwise, I doubt this is about gold digging. Everthing Hugh does now is about publicity for the Playboy empire (for which he's been trying to buy back the majority of stock). The girls of the "The Girls Next Door" were never girlfriends in the true sense of the word. They were arm candy to promote the playboy brand and lifestyle, and it was clear that everyone was always in on the joke. I'm sure Hugh knows what he's getting from Harris; and Harris knows what she's getting from Hugh (publicity for whatever acting, modeling, reality tv gig she pursues). Plus, Hugh's pretty savy, you can bet there's an airtight prenup, and his assets are protected in trusts.
I have doubts that this girl is 24, just as I have doubts that Holly gives her true age. But who cares? The hair is fake, the boobs are fake, the stat sheet in the centerfold is fake, and if I am correct, it appears there has been significant facial plastic surgery. WHO and WHAT is he marrying? The Hollywood Ideal, which only exists in fantasy.
I liked older men when I was younger, went there many times, but a 60 year age difference is just too creepy and overboard. Yes, Hef has praised Viagra but that still doesn't take away the awful image that she does the deed with him.
That is not a twenty four year old face.
@GDE: You're right about that. I'd say Hef looks about 60 or so.
