A groundbreaking new long-term study of children of lesbian partners shows the kids are all right, indeed. The now-seventeen-year olds were found to be better adjusted, not out-of-control horndogs and not any more likely to be homosexual than their peers.

The National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study also concludes that after twenty-four years of research, not a single one of its subjects has ever reported sexual abuse by their parents. (HuffPo: "This contrasts with 26 percent of American adolescents who report parent or caregiver physical abuse and 8.3 percent who report sexual abuse.") Most of the kids are sexually and psychologically well-adjusted and only 2.8% say they are gay… not that there's anything wrong with that.

The NLLFS said its press release that this represents "a sharp contrast to studies of American teenagers in general," which, of course, will be met with a loud retort or two from the right-wing "family values" community… any second now…
