Los Angeles porn industry back up and running after HIV scare

After an HIV scare last week that shut down filming, Los Angeles porn studios are back in business. Production came to a halt when it came to light that a porn actor had tested positive for HIV, and studios voluntarily shuttered to begin the process of testing all performers who may have come in contact with the afflicted actor.

As it turns out, the actor in question had received a false positive, and after he came up negative on subsequent tests, trade organization the Free Speech Coalition has officially given studios permission to resume work.

Advocacy groups aren't as satisfied with this news as everyone else, and are still pushing for a ballot initiative in Los Angeles requiring porn actors to use condoms in all films. Either way, we can all (and by "we" I mean "the porn industry in Los Angeles") rest a little easier knowing this is resolved for the time being, and go back to doing the Lord's work.
