Even though it seems like most Americans would willingly trade their privacy, dignity, and porn collection for $128, let alone $128 million, a Michigan resident with the weekend’s only winning Powerball ticket has yet to come forward.

State rules dictate that lottery winners can’t claim their money and remain anonymous, meaning that in order to collect the jackpot the winner would have to admit having shopped at the oh-so-classily named Uptown Bookstore. Meanwhile, other customers only see perks to one-stop shopping for lottery tickets and porn, and store owners are bracing for an onslaught of business. Or, as one resident put it, “Maybe it’s a lucky spot.” Also, maybe they should consider renaming the store “The Lucky Spot?” Just a thought.

I doubt dignity is the issue here - obviously he's just been preoccupied with pressing other matters.

I'm sure he (she ?) will not remain anonymous... or he (she ?) has lost its ticket maybe ?

I'd be more than happy to drive out there, retrieve his ticket, and claim the money - on his behalf of course.

How do we know it's a man? And doesn't the person realize $128 million buys A LOT of porn!

An even worse possibility - the porn shop sold the winning ticket to a kid who shouldn't have been allowed in the place.
