A Kansas State University professor of nutrition claims to have lost 27 pounds in a matter of months by eating almost nothing but junk food.

Mark Haub is causing controversy with his fellow health nuts by cutting out meals and eating straight from the bodega, something that his critics say could be dangerous to his long-term health… even if he did drop several belt sizes in about eight weeks.

He went from being overweight to having a BMI that falls within the healthy range. And all he did was unwrap some kind of snack food every three hours instead of eating big, "healthy" meals.

The plan provided automatic portion control, making it easy for Haub to restrict his calories. Presently Haub won't say whether or not the diet was healthy, only that it worked in terms of weight loss. [Asylum]
