Photo of Cock-out -- a new German video game you play with your penis

Today is World AIDS Day. In order to celebrate, and increase awareness about safe-sex, a German company has released a fun new video game called "Cock-Out." Users receive a special condom along with the game, put it on, and then use their penises to battle a green HIV-monster. It's like a Wii controller for your dick. The company's motto, appropriately enough, is "Learn By Doing."

The motivating force behind the game's creation is that unsafe sex -- especially among young men -- is still a huge problem in Germany (and the rest of the world). More than one quarter of men don't use protection the first time they have sex. By creating a game that's fun to play -- and full of sex-ed details -- they imagine they will raise awareness.

Which is cool, I guess. Or it would be, if it wasn't so absurd. I mean, is the condom multi-use? If so, is it dishwasher safe? Are there multi-player options?

Also, there is this totally absurd video, which looks like a bunch of German guys masturbating to dance music (what else?). But it's really a safe-sex PSA. So, happy World AIDS Day everyone and happy viewing:

OK I'm off to email Scott Adams. It does not say World Aids Day on my Dilbert calendar.

I think you misread the article. “Every fourth young person doesn’t use a condom their first time,” spokesperson for the activist organisation Heiko Schüßling said in a statement. That means that 3/4 men DO use condoms their first time not "fewer than one quarter of men use protection the first time they have sex."

Betty - right you are. That was an oversight (not really horrendous math).
