Watch: Emphatic five-year-old girl refuses to get married without a job
By Ray RahmanFebruary 23rd, 2011, 10:30 amComments (5)When my friends and I were five, we enjoyed life to the fullest. We ate mountains of sugary cereal while watching Saturday morning cartoons, stole from the cookie jar, and picked our noses with abandon.
Things are different now. Kids are being pummeled with the pressure to succeed. Today's tiny humans are setting up Gmail accounts, perusing Utne Reader, scheduling pre-interviews with Yale admissions officers — and, according to the girl in the video below, fretting about how to balance a career with marriage.
Pretty much everyone I know is an utter mess compared to this girl, married people included. Anyway, you guys should be nice to her, because she'll be your boss in about twenty years.

An adult in her life speaks that way. Oh dear.
Poor child. Hope she has people in her life to show her the art of joy, silliness and laughter.
Wait until he has a job as well.
oh my, this is one determined girl. I hope she gets to enjoy her childhood while she still has it. people who are forced to "grow up" too early, tend to revert back to a childlike state at an older age, and shed their responsibilities. That sort of thing tends to ruin lives.
A few years ago I'd have to pay seomone for this information.
