Demi Moore to be miscast as Gloria Steinem in Lovelace

Inexplicably, Demi Moore has been tapped to play feminist goddess Gloria Steinem in Lovelace, the upcoming biopic of Deep Throat star Linda Lovelace. This probably won't make much sense to anyone who's followed the careers of either woman, but who knows, it's possible Moore will slap on a pair of oversized glasses and make it work.
In more odd choices for the endlessly cast and re-cast film, Adam Brody is now set to play Lovelace's co-star in Deep Throat, porn star Harry Reems, while Hugh Hefner will be played by none other than Renaissance boy James Franco. The movie will also feature a virtual clown car of buzzy actors including but not limited to Peter Sarsgaard, Chris Noth, Juno Temple, and Amanda Seyfried in the title role.
This all raises numerous questions. Will Moore get caught up in her research for the role and finally ditch the questionable @MrsKutcher Twitter handle? Will James Franco look more or less creepy than usual in a red silk bathrobe? What does poor Lindsay Lohan think about this whole thing? If nothing else, now I feel like I'll have to see this movie just out of morbid curiosity.

Actually, I think Moore might work in that role. Seyfried as Lovelace though? I'm not buying it.
I forget which critic it was who aptly described "Deep Throat" as a movie populated by people who had no business being seen in public without their clothes, but he hit the nail on the head. Linda Lovelace (RIP) should be played by a much more plain and homely actress than Amanda Seyfried. Moore as Steinem is OK as far as looks go.
