Eminem will star in "Random Acts of Violence," a new movie based on "Grand Theft Auto"

Eminem's big white ass will once again grace the big screen. The 8 Mile actor has signed to star in a new crime thriller called Random Acts of Violence at Twentieth Century Fox. He'll play an ex-con torn — surprisingly — between his loyalties for his old gang and the promise of a legit life. The project has been rotting in development hell since it was conceived years ago as a film version of the popular videogame Grand Theft Auto.

The script has since been cleaned of any scenes featuring hooker beatings (thankfully), and now resembles regular old crime dramas like The Town or The Departed. Twentieth Century Fox has brought on writer and director David Von Ancken, whose credits include Showtime's Californication. Last month, it was announced that Eminem will also star in an upcoming boxing film titled Southpaw for Dreamworks.
