If you're anything like me, this whole Harry Potter thing just kind of passed you by. For whatever reason — and, really, no judging here; I reserve that for you adult "Twihards" — I got through the last decade without seeing much of the story about this British wizard kid with the forehead scar and the John Lennon glasses. It was one of those things where, when the second movie came out, it was like homework having to sit through the first. And when the third hit theaters, that homework was doubled. And on and on, snowballing with every critically-acclaimed crowd-pleasing flick, until the prospect of sitting down and watching all eight movies was so overwhelming that I just closed my eyes, stuck my fingers in my ears, and repeatedly told myself that there is no Harry Potter.
Which is why the people behind this movie have to be commended. It tells the entire saga in only sixty seconds, allowing folks like myself the opportunity to catch up and be part of the conversation at the office water cooler.
All right, then. All caught up. Who wants to chat Potter?
