James Franco is making a documentary about the porn industry

It may not be as exciting as if he was starring in a film about the porn industry, but James Franco is dabbling in some titillating subject matter for his next project. The multi-hyphenate extraordinaire is working on a documentary that explores behind-the-scenes aspects of pornography. In an interview with Conan O'Brien, Franco said:

“I actually am very interested in pornography. I mean, I watch it, who doesn’t? I guess nobody’s going to raise their hand, but there are a lot of people here who watch pornography. It’s just a fact. So, I’m interested in it. I’m making a documentary about pornography. There’s this amazing facility in San Francisco, it’s at this old armory. They do everything in house, they build their props in house, so I’m making a documentary about that.”

We're not exactly sure what kind of props he's talking about, but you've got to admire the dude's honesty. Let's hope his filmmaking is as refreshing as his candor.
