Darren Aronofsky films typically provide intense cinematic experiences, but one Latvian man didn't even make it out of the theater alive during a recent showing of Black Swan. The forty-two-year-old man was shot dead after getting into an argument with a fellow filmgoer for supposedly chewing his popcorn too loudly. Sounds like the audience got two thrillers for the price of one that night. I wish I could say a tragic incident like this was some performance piece or a Banksy stunt. But no, a man actually lost his life over snack food. Makes you think twice about going to the concession stand next time.
