Mila Kunis honors her promise, goes to Marine Corps Ball

Well gosh, aren't those Friends With Benefits stars just great people? First JT takes Corporal Kelsey De Santis to the Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, and now Mila Kunis follows up on her promise to attend the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville with Sergeant Scott Moore. Better step up your game, Woody Harrelson and Patricia Clarkson. You're looking downright miserly by comparison.

As you may recall, Moore spurred this whole celebrity YouTube date-proposal trend (hey, it's a thing) back in July when he posted a nineteen-second video asking Kunis to be his date. "Hey Mila, it's Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott," he says in the video. "I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18th in Greenville, North Carolina with yours truly. So, take a second, think about it, get back to me."

Kunis first learned of the offer in a Fox News interview. (Because good things come out of that channel every now and again. Who knew?) Her Friends with Benefits costar Timberlake repeatedly insisted, "Do it for your country," and assured Moore he would persuade her before Kunis agreed. "I want to make this happen, sir. I'm with you," she declared.

There's no word yet from Kunis or Moore on how the date went, but according to spokesperson Captain Scott Sasser, "Everything went well. It was a great experience for everyone."

Basically it all boils down to this: Mila Kunis, one. Scarlett Johansson, zip.

Because he got a date with Mila Kunis…I don't need to go to the whiteboard, do I?

Mr. Man

I hope this trend ends here. It will inevitably lead to near mandatory starlet acceptance lest they offend the hopeless masses.

And that's a bad or good thing, why?

Bad thing because they usually have better things to be doing- or are already busy and shouldn't feel guilty for turning down an invitation due to a prior engagement.

Soldiers are using the reverence that the public provides them with as leverage to ask for dates with movie stars. It's bad PR for a star to turn it down, which is like a trap play. If they were not in the military they wouldn't get the date. Does she have to put out too?

yes

Yes, she does have to put out. And guys have been using leverage to ask for dates with women since the idea of leverage was invented. Get over it. Maybe go out on a date or something.

There's also the fact that people were generally allowed to turn down dates without being judged, last we checked...

this is true, but being that it was a benifit she probably would have accepted without the "Do it for your country" comment. That seemed a little much like,
' unless you say yes you're anti america! '

No it's not. People get judged *every* time they turn down a date.

What The Hell???

I'm in the Army and I was thinking of trying to see if I could parlay my veteran status into a date with Betty White. I wonder if she'd be willing to put out at the end of the night. And I mean more than her teeth...
