Though I'd hazard a guess that the content of Matt Damon movies isn't necessarily the top concern in Japan right now, the Clint Eastwood-directed Hereafter has been pulled early from theaters in the country due to a scene depicting the 2004 tsunami in Indonesia. A Warner Entertainment Japan Inc. official told the Associated Press that the material was "not appropriate" for Japanese audiences in the wake of last week's massive earthquake and tsunami.

The release of Aftershock — which depicts the Great Tangshan Earthquake of 1976 — has also been delayed, as well as Anthony Hopkins' new movie, The Rite.

If you'd like to pitch in with the relief efforts currently underway in Japan, donations are being accepted over at The Red Cross.
