A mere twenty-one years after its release, Weekend at Bernie's has secured its place in hip hop history. The comedy starring Jonathan Silverman, Andrew McCarthy (recently named the Travel Writer of the Year at The Atlantic), and that dude in sunglasses who played the dead, titular Bernie inspired the Southern rap group I.S.A. to lay down the track "Movin' Like Bernie" in summer 2009. The rest of the world is just catching on now.

But wait, it gets better. There's also an accompanying dance simply called "The Bernie." We hear it's swept the South faster than you can say "Crank That (Soulja Boy)." The good news is that the dance is way easier than the Chicken Noodle Soup, but more exciting than the Fat Joe Lean Back. The bad news is that you might need a chiropractor after throwing your head back and shuffling limply for an entire three-minute-and-forty-six-second song.
