Gabourey Sidibe commits crime with Foster The People in their new video

I'm going to be honest here: I have a Pavlovian hatred for this song, which I only discovered today as I watched this video. It took a while for me to come around to Foster The People, because — not having heard any of their music — at first I thought they were Kings Of Leon. (Eugh.) And then at second I thought they were Vampire Weekend, having heard their big hit, "Pumped Up Kicks." (The jauntiest song about school shootings ever!) And now I've discovered they play this terrible bank-commercial ditty — also known as "Don't Stop (Color On the Walls)" — that I have to hear when Hulu wants to show me ads. No, Foster The People, just because you put Gabby Sidibe in the video does not make me forgive you:

I'm sorry, I just cannot divorce these noises from the interruptions in my day-after Happy Endings viewings. I would rather watch Precious again, and that made my mother cry.
