Holographic Japanese pop star sells out concert

Remember that movie S1m0ne? Of course you do! It was Al Pacino's finest work and your favorite movie to date. It looks like the film's premise — wherein a holographic pop star wins the heart of a nation and becomes America's biggest celebrity — has become reality. In Japan, of course. There are a few main differences — Simone represented an adult human lady, holographic Japanese sensation Hatsune Miku is clearly an adolescent anime character. In America, audiences are not aware this woman is a bunch of pixels, and in Japan, they are aware. Who comes out ahead? I don't know.
