Listen to Ice-T appear on NPR’s “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!”

Nothing says "publicly funded radio news quiz show" like the man behind such hits as "Cop Killer," "I'm Your Pusher," and "Lethal Weapon." As far as celebrtiy guests go, I don't think anyone can compete with "Wait Wait…Don't Tell Me!" Over the years they've quietly racked up a list of notables that ranges from the expected (Madelaine Albright, Brad Bird, Leonard Nemoy) to the… less so (Ke$ha, Tony Hawk, two out of five Village People). While I'd like to believe that all of these people take some time out of their weekend mornings to listen to Mo Rocca and Paula Poundstone's humorous thoughts on the national issues of the day, I know it's probably not true.

But wouldn't it be great if every Saturday, Ice-T and his frighteningly pneumatic wife Coco sat at the kitchen table, sipping their coffee and trying to figure out "Who's Carl This Time"? Almost as great as hearing the audience warmly laugh at Ice-T's history of robbing banks:

Well done, NPR and Ice-T. "Pimps Up, Pantyhose Down" will keep me giggling well into the evening.
