Maybe there’s going to be an extremely short-lived Guns ‘N Roses reunion?

Band reunions come in all shapes and sizes. You have blatant alimony-based money grabs (the new/old Van Halen), tours that happen every few years just to refill the coffers (the new tour by The Beach Boys), and bands that shine brightly for one more brief instant before burning out again. True to form, the rumored Guns 'N Roses reunion is none of these.

If there's still a group out there keeping various fingers and toes crossed hoping for a legit GNR reunion, you may have a chance to rest. According to current (?) GNR keyboardist Dizzy Reed in this interview with Billboard.com, there's going to be a reunion-of-sorts during the band's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction on April 14th.

Take it away, Dizzy:

"I know that all the original band is going to be there," keyboardist Dizzy Reed, the longest-standing member of the current GNR and an inductee that night, tells Billboard.com. "I don't know exactly what's going to go down. It's one of those things I'm sure will all come together and be really cool. I'm just going to go in with a good attitude and a clear head and a grateful heart."

My guess: the original guys will stroll to the podium, awkwardly hug for a bit, smile through gritted teeth while Axl cryptically tells the audience "this is so much fun, we'll be doing it again," followed by a few weeks of more rumors before everyone kind of just forgets it was ever talked about, the end. So, prepare yourselves for that.
