Sinead O’Connor splits from new husband after sixteen days

Sinead O'Connor, noted musician and over-sharer, took to her blog yesterday (as she does) to announce that her marriage to Barry Herridge — which was performed in Las Vegas on December 8 — is over. The couple were together for sixteen days, though according to O'Connor, they only stayed with each other for seven. Apparently, some people from the new husband's family weren't so pleased with the marriage, which is odd for an impromptu Vegas wedding because normally people think of those as very solid and stable. Also, I think O'Connor's pot dealer threatened Herridge or something; she's a bit vague about it:

Within 3 hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband's life. And also by a bit of a wild ride i took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don't drink. My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage. It became apparent to me that if he were to stay with me he would be losing too much to bear.

Which of the following is the saddest part of this story?

1. Sinead O'Connor, real person with feelings, is getting a divorce.

2. Sinead O'Connor, famous person, can't easily find weed in Las Vegas.

3. Sinead O'Connor, once a much beloved artist, has fallen so low that she's basically just copying Britney Spears.

Acceptable answers include 1, "all of the above," and "none of it is sad if she also decides to attack an SUV with an umbrella, because that was awesome." She already has the haircut, after all.
