Ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod.

Sorry. Fine, I'm not sorry: By now, you've heard the story of how Kurt Cobain borrowed the phrase "smells like teen spirit" from his Pacific Northwestern friend Kathleen Hanna like a bamillion times, right? Well, Hanna — formerly of Bikini Kill and Le Tigre, among other projects — finally took back her slogan and played the Nirvana song for an excited crowd.

As a bonus, she also retells a few tales from the muddy banks of Washington state's early '90s scene — including one that involves her stripping to "Smells Like Teen Spirit" for a hardcore band — and plays a snippet of Bikini Kill's "Rebel Girl."

Good times.
