Anderson Cooper

Poor Anderson Cooper. Everyone's favorite silver fox CNN reporter and his crew were attacked by pro-Mubarak supporters in Cairo on Wednesday. In fact, according to CNN Coverage Manager Steve Brusk's Twitter account, Anderson got punched in the head a whopping ten times. You have to love a reporter who is willing to risk life and limb on the job, especially when so many anchors these days are just pretty faces who sit behind a desk.

Cooper and his crew were trying to get to a neutral zone. He spoke on CNN's American Morning earlier today:

"We never got that far. We were set upon by pro-Mubarak supporters punching us in the head. We tried to escape but the crowd kept growing, kept throwing punches, kicks… suddenly a young man would look at you and punch you in the face."

Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.
