Anderson Cooper gets punched in the head ten times by Egyptian protesters

Poor Anderson Cooper. Everyone's favorite silver fox CNN reporter and his crew were attacked by pro-Mubarak supporters in Cairo on Wednesday. In fact, according to CNN Coverage Manager Steve Brusk's Twitter account, Anderson got punched in the head a whopping ten times. You have to love a reporter who is willing to risk life and limb on the job, especially when so many anchors these days are just pretty faces who sit behind a desk.
Cooper and his crew were trying to get to a neutral zone. He spoke on CNN's American Morning earlier today:
"We never got that far. We were set upon by pro-Mubarak supporters punching us in the head. We tried to escape but the crowd kept growing, kept throwing punches, kicks... suddenly a young man would look at you and punch you in the face."
Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.

Oh for Christ's sake, al Jazeera reporters were being beaten and having their equipment trashed long before CNN even knew about an uprising in Egypt. As usual, Yankee media conglomerates like CNN and others are late to the game. I'd have kicked the son of a bitch in the head ten times.
Twolane, every once in a while, one of your posts warms my heart.
@ADD - I'm saddened to know that I occasionally make sense. For the most part, I try not to.
Anderson Cooper has been getting nearly killed since way back in his work on Channel One. Because he's gangster.
@Twolane: Oh, I didn't say you made sense.
am i supposed to feel bad for him in any way shape or form, i dont
