Ice-T predicts that Hillary Clinton will be the first female president

While at Sundance for the premiere of his documentary Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, Ice-T took off his celebrity hat and put on his political futurist, uh, bow-tie. (Just go with it.) While there is absolutely no context given for this quote, which actually makes it even more amusing, it looks like Ice is still holding out hopes for a Clinton presidency in 2016 after (he expects) Obama serves for a second term. What makes him so sure that she has the nomination and election in the bag?

"She did the Secretary of State job, she was a G, she held it down, she didn't cry," referring to the former New York Senator with the hip-hop term for gangster (a positive thing).

"Obama will support her," he said, "and she'll be the first woman president."

While I might point out that Clinton did, in fact, rather famously tear up during the race for the Democratic nomination in 2008, I won't quibble with the larger point: Hillary Clinton is pretty badass. (Who would have guessed we'd be saying that back in the '90s? Well, probably some people, but not the general public.) Clinton has said herself many times that she has no plans to run for president — indeed, she even said she doesn't want to be Secretary of State for much longer — but I'm sure it's comforting to know she still has people pulling for her. After all, once you've got the singer of "Cop Killer" on your side, you're pretty much golden. There's no way the Republicans could counter that.
