For a long time, Democrats have griped about the aggressive politics of the Republican Party — and how irritatingly effective they can be. But, it looks like we might have a new champion. The new chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, is a mighty sword amid the meek cutlery of the Democratic Party. So much so that Republicans have begun to worry that they won't stack up.
Schultz is a Congresswoman, who fought through breast cancer while serving and running a very vocal women's-rights campaign in the House. Most recently, she was a staunch advocate of Planned Parenthood in the budget-cut debates. And she's known for her assertive, almost combative stances. For proof, check out this compilation of her on various news programs. Isn't it refreshing to see someone cutting in, interrupting opponents, calling them liars when they lie, and doing so from a liberal point of view?
