Ted Kennedy once rented a whole brothel for himself in Chile, FBI files reveal

From the same FBI files that brought us cryptic tales of "sex parties" at the Carlyle hotel, we have a new piece of beyond-the-grave, sex-related, and not-all-that-suprising Ted Kennedy news: while traveling in Chile as an Assistant District Attorney in 1961, not only did Kennedy visit a brothel, but he actually rented out the whole place to have to himself for a night.
According to the file excerpted above, Kennedy, like the skilled and hospitable diplomat he was, "allegedly invited one of the Embassy chauffeurs to participate in the night's activities" in between all his secret meetings with "left-wingers" and Communists. Oh, to have lived in simpler times.

I spent 10 minutes trying to work that phrase into this post then gave up.
Side note: Ted Kennedy seems like my kinda guy.

As long as he didn't use official funds, what's the harm? Some folks don't like to wait for their turn.
He could have set the place on fire as he left killing everyone inside and still have gotten re-elected in Mass.
If he was more conservative, he would have rented a brothel full of underage boys.
Or pull a Michael Steele and use RNC funds for bondage-themed nightclubs.
Strange how this file was never made public while Teddy was around to confirm or deny events. But at least he let his driver in on the fun. If Teddy had been a Republican he would've let the guy suffer through blueballs out in the car.
