Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin is set to play himself on an upcoming episode of 30 Rock. While not much is known about the exact role he'll play, we bet there'll be a lot of fast-talking and witty repartee. That's a given, right?
As the creator of the long-gone Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, which actually premiered the same year as 30 Rock (2006, for those keeping score at home), Sorkin's no stranger to shows about late-night comedies, though that show only lasted one meager season. Perhaps he'll have better luck with the TGS crew? Who better to play the perfect foil to Jack Donaghy than a man responsible for some of cinema's snappiest dialogue, after all? The episode will air later this spring in either March or April.
