Conan O'Brien dares NBC to sue him

Conan O'Brien dares NBC to sue him.

I don't know whether Rolling Stone still tries to review (or even listen to) music, but they sure have been getting a lot of good interviews. There was General McChrystal, there was President Obama, and now, as the trajectory would suggest, there's Conan O'Brien.

While the full interview has yet to be released, NY Post has a preview in which the unapologetically bearded comedian teases us with the funniest litigious comedy this side of Boston Legal:

"What I really wanna do," O'Brien confided, "is be sued over the bear and then appear in court with the Masturbating Bear. "Your Honor, this bear can't help himself!"

Love it. He's referring, of course, to NBC's intellectual property claims over the characters Conan created on the network, like Pimpbot 5000 and Abe Lincoln. Let's all hope Conan gets served, for absurdity's sake.

Does NBC own Abe Vigoda?

NBC? Wasn't that a television network at one time?

meh

They had the same spat with David Letterman over things like the "Top 10" list when he left. He had the exact same reaction, and they backed down very quickly.
