Elisabeth Hasselbeck says Sarah Palin’s media manipulation is stealing attention from Romney

On a day that saw Mitt Romney officially throw his hat into the presidential ring once again — stating, from a scenic farm in New Hampshire, that President Obama had "failed America" — America's conservative "sweetheart," The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck, jumped on the Romney bandwagon. Hasselbeck scolded Sarah Palin for her highly-publicized bus odyssey (currently touring historic sites up the East Coast, and possibly stopping at rest-stop Pizza Huts along the way), which she thinks is taking the focus off Romney, who she thinks should be in the White House because, you know, he knows things. About money and stuff. What, you didn't read Romney's No Apology: The Case for American Greatness? That's downright treasonous.

Hasselbeck schooled her yakmates as to why Romney would make an excellent Exterminator-in-chief, opining:

"If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it. Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus, and right now she's manipulating in terms of media attention."

No offense to Elisabeth Hasselbeck, but I'd rather listen to Sarah Palin, or even Joy Behar, than Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
