Watch: Jon Stewart interviews First Dude Barack Obama
By Ray RahmanOctober 28th, 2010, 11:41 amComments (1)
Remember that time Bill Clinton fielded questions from kids on MTV, only to find himself talking about how he "never inhaled" marijuana and whether he wore boxers or briefs? It was much more humiliating for presidents to be cool back then. Now it's easier; all you have to do is visit The Daily Show and indulge Jon Stewart for twenty minutes.
Which is what President Obama did last night, when he: fielded sharp questions about healthcare reform and the economy; exchanged some friendly quips with Stewart; and got called "dude," which probably doesn't happen often enough (unless I've totally misjudged White House Economic Advisor Austan Goolsbee).
Here's how you should spend your lunch break:

Pretty bland, as Obama interviews tend to be. The highlight for me was Obama's face after Stewart made the Larry Summers crack.
