Watch: Jon Stewart kicks off "It Gets Worse" campaign in honor of John McCain's career

Even after being met with opposition (albeit lukewarm opposition) from his own wife, John McCain has bravely pushed ahead with his vehement, politically tone-deaf support of the military’s Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy. Not too surprisingly the good people over at The Daily Show are having none of it, and last night released an unexpectedly pointed and expectedly hilarious attack against McCain:
On McCain’s repeated, confused insistence that the issue undergo more study before a policy change, Stewart said, “It’s the maverick way – spend a year studying whether soldiers deserve full civil rights, and half an hour deciding… who will be your presidential running mate.” Yep, pretty much. The whole thing culminates with a faux “It Gets Worse” campaign predicting, accurately, the quality of McCain’s political future if he keeps this up.
