Make no mistake: ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager loves sex.
Sure, horrible things happen to the teens when they do take the plunge and actually have the sex they can't stop talking about, but that's neither here nor there. Actually important? The fact that they said the word "sex" a whopping seventy times in a single episode.
This might be a good time for the good folks over at the Parents Television Council to get off their anti-Glee and anti-Skins soapboxes and start berating a network with the word family in the title for its condoning of suggestive behavior. Because we all know the harm words can do, especially when complied into one fifty-second video. You've been warned.

abc family is a shitty channel and this is a shitty tv show. I'm all for banning it.
Of course the show emphasizes sex. Who would want to watch a show ahout teens trying to get into college?
