The latest reality show to shine an unflattering light on Italian-Americans, Mob Wives is set to debut April 17 on VH1, with the producing muscle of The Weinstein Co. and Ben Silverman behind it. If you like your botox with a side of car bombs and prison visits, this is your show.

In what could easily be called The Real Housewives of Staten Island, the ten-episode series created by Jennifer Graziano follows four actual mob wives, as well as Karen Gravano, the daughter of Sammy "The Bull" Gravano, as they pick up the pieces after their husbands and fathers get locked up. Think tough-talking broads with the bulldog pugnacity of a Victoria Gotti, and you're on the right track. Shows like Growing Up Gotti, The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and The Sopranos should come to mind. And don't even pretend like you're not going to watch it. Incidentally, Gravano, who has an online business called KG Cosmetics, recently signed a six-figure book deal with St. Martin's Press, after receiving three years probation for involvement in her father's Ecstasy ring.
